The Miami Beach City Commission will hold two special meetings in November, according to a city post on X Monday. The announcement has not been independently verified by Red Sidewalks, and no agenda was available yet.

The first is Thursday, Nov. 12, at 3:30 p.m., to discuss the Live Local Act, the state housing law. The second is Monday, Nov. 16, at 9 a.m., to accept the results of the city’s special election.

Both meetings will be in the Commission Chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive. The city’s post invites residents to participate.

The special election is being held at the same time as the Miami-Dade County general election on Tuesday, Nov. 3. In a separate reminder Monday, the city said early voting continues daily through Sunday, Nov. 1, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
