U.S. Rep. Jared Moskowitz, the Democratic candidate, and Republican Scott Singer will appear at a candidate forum tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Miami Beach JCC, 4221 Pine Tree Drive, according to a flier from the organizers.

The two are running for the newly redrawn 25th Congressional District, a coastal stretch from Delray Beach in Palm Beach County to Miami Beach, according to WLRN. They won their party primaries and face each other in the November general election, CBS12 reported. Singer is a former mayor of Boca Raton.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the program starts at 7 p.m., the flier says. CBS Miami reporter Morgan Rynor is the guest moderator. The forum is free and open to the public, and organizers ask attendees to RSVP and register in advance.

Co-sponsors listed on the flier are CBS 4 Miami, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, the Miami Beach Bar Association, the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, the MidBeach Neighborhood Association and MidBeach Matters.

The candidates met at a similar forum in Boca Raton on Oct. 20, where questions focused on Israel and antisemitism, foreign policy, congressional stock trading and the future of Social Security, WLRN reported.
