Drivers in Sunny Isles Beach face two new lane closures over the next month, according to traffic alerts posted by the city.

One lane at 221 186th St. will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Thursday, Oct. 29, and running through Sunday, Nov. 29, the city’s notice says.

On Collins Avenue, a northbound lane and the sidewalk at 18911 Collins Ave. will close overnight, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Nov. 2, through Thursday, Nov. 5, according to a second alert.

Neither notice says what work is being done or who is doing it, and neither lists a detour. The details come only from the city’s alerts, which Red Sidewalks has not independently verified. The city lists its Government Center, 305-947-0606, for questions on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
