Saturday youth flag football camp starts Nov. 14 at Miami Beach Senior High
The nine-week camp for ages 5 to 15 meets Saturdays at 9 a.m. on the school's football field and costs $288, the city says.
Miami Beach Flag Football will run a Saturday camp for boys and girls ages 5 to 15 from Nov. 14 through Jan. 30 at the Miami Beach Senior High football field, 2231 Prairie Ave., the city said Friday on X. The details come from the city’s post, which Red Sidewalks has not independently verified.
Sessions run from 9 to 10 a.m. There is no camp on Nov. 28, Dec. 26 or Jan. 2. The camp is affiliated with NFL Flag and led by Wilkie Perez, who coaches the school’s boys’ football and girls’ flag football teams, according to the post. Players are grouped by age, skill or size and work on technique, drills, offense and defense, and scrimmages.
The full nine weeks cost $288 plus a $3.50 transaction fee, which covers nine one-hour sessions and a reversible NFL Flag jersey. The last session includes lunch. A second, third or fourth child from the same family gets a discount, and players who join after the camp has started pay a prorated price, the city said.
