Free HIV prevention and STI testing clinic runs weekly at Flamingo Park
A University of Miami mobile program offers PrEP, nPEP, STI testing and HIV care at no cost near the park's baseball field, the city says.
A free sexual health clinic run by the University of Miami’s Rapid Access Wellness Clinic and Mobile PrEP Program is set up at Flamingo Park, near the baseball field at 1245 Michigan Ave., every Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. and on alternating Mondays from 1 to 4 p.m., the City of Miami Beach said in a post on X on Saturday. The city said the visits continue through Sept. 30, 2027.
According to the city and the university’s program page, the services include PrEP and nPEP (medications used to prevent HIV), testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, and HIV care for people with a new diagnosis or returning to care. All services are free, and the program says everyone is welcome regardless of insurance or immigration status.
The city’s post gave Oct. 26 as the next Monday visit, a date that has already passed, so residents planning a Monday visit should check the current schedule first. The program’s page says its mobile sites change and directs people to its Instagram and Facebook accounts for current locations. Appointments and questions: 305-243-2584 or [email protected].
The Flamingo Park schedule comes from the city’s post, which Red Sidewalks has not independently confirmed with the program.
