The City of Miami Beach has scheduled a second virtual community meeting on a proposed 0.5 increase in floor area ratio (FAR) for the 1751, 1757 and 1775 Collins Avenue development, according to a post on the city’s X account Tuesday. Red Sidewalks has not independently verified the details beyond that post.

The meeting is set for Thursday, Nov. 5, at 5 p.m. on Zoom (webinar ID 813 2664 6957). The city’s post links to the Zoom registration page.

FAR limits how much building area is allowed relative to the size of a lot, so a higher FAR can mean a larger building.
