City cancels Sunday's French Market at South Pointe Park over forecast weather
The Nov. 1 market is off because of forecast inclement weather; the next one is Nov. 22.
The City of Miami Beach has canceled The French Market scheduled for this Sunday, Nov. 1, at South Pointe Park, citing forecasted inclement weather. This account rests on the city’s post on X, which Red Sidewalks has not independently verified.
The market was to run from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the park, 1 Washington Ave. The city said the next market is Sunday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the same location.
The National Weather Service in Miami has a coastal flood advisory in effect for Miami-Dade County until 8 p.m. Saturday and a rip current statement through Sunday evening.
Other city-listed events that day include the Miami Beach Pull-Up Jam at Muscle Beach in Lummus Park and a Rocky Horror Picture Show screening at the Miami Beach Bandshell. Check each organizer for weather-related changes.
