Overnight utility work will take place at 75 Street and Dickens Avenue in North Beach on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., the City of Miami Beach said in an alert email Wednesday. The notice is the only source for this story, and Red Sidewalks has not independently verified it.

The city said the parking lot access will be closed overnight and restored by 6 a.m. Pedestrian access will be restricted at the end of 75 Street, and vehicle access there will also be limited. Flaggers will direct traffic.

The work is part of the force main replacement along Hawthorne Avenue. The city scheduled it at night to avoid disrupting the school nearby. Residents should expect crews, equipment and moderate construction noise.
