A free weekly walking series, the Fast Walker Mile, starts Sunday, Nov. 22, at Bayshore Park and will run every Sunday after that, the City of Miami Beach announced on X on Thursday.

Walks run from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the park, 2530 Pine Tree Drive. Participants can choose 1, 2 or 3 miles, and the series is open to all ages and fitness levels, according to the city’s post.

The series is presented by the Fast Walker Club with support from the city and Mount Sinai Medical Center. It will include talks on faster walking and heart health from Dr. Olcay Aksoy, Mount Sinai’s chief of cardiology, the city said.

Registration is free through a link in the city’s post. Details come from the city’s announcement; no separate event page was found.
