Normandy Isle Park paths and courts close Friday, Saturday and Wednesday for work
Basketball courts, the pavilion and the soccer field will be off limits 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 6, 7 and 11. The pool stays open.
Parts of Normandy Isle Park in North Beach will close on Friday, Nov. 6, Saturday, Nov. 7, and Wednesday, Nov. 11, while crews work on park improvements and maintenance, the City of Miami Beach said in an alert email. The city’s notice is the only source, and Red Sidewalks has not independently verified it.
Work hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The work is along the park’s concrete path. While crews are there, the sidewalk, basketball courts, pavilion and soccer field will be closed. The city said each area will reopen once work is finished.
The public pool stays open. Parking remains available along Rue Granville and Trouville Esplanade.
The city’s map, shown below, marks the work zone in red along the path between Rue Granville and Trouville Esplanade, south of the pool and north of the courts and soccer field.
Questions go to Neighborhood Affairs Coordinator Nicholas Levy at [email protected]. More on city projects is at miamibeachfl.gov/NAD.
The park is also the site of a planned turf replacement for its field, which Red Sidewalks reported on Oct. 26. The city’s alert did not say whether the two are related.
